This page explains what Dreaming Crowds collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
Kevin Reid and Pedro Busato Ader run Dreaming Crowds and are responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach them at hello@dreamingcrowds.com.
What we collect
When you send the contact form, we receive your work email, your company and, if you add it, a description of the decision you are exploring. If you write to us directly, we receive your email.
Our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
If you create an account, we store your name, work email, verified email status, company memberships and role. Password accounts store a password hash. Sign-in sessions record an IP address and browser identifier. Company owners and admins can see team members and pending invitations. Export records include the company, the person who created the export and its file location.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details to reply to your inquiry and to discuss a possible pilot. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the inquiries we receive (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). We do not sell your details, add you to a mailing list or use them for advertising.
Account and workspace data lets us provide access, verify your email, recover your account and enforce company permissions. Choosing Microsoft or Google sign-in shares the identity information needed to create or connect your account. It does not give us access to your email messages or company documents.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the website.
- Resend delivers contact messages and account verification, recovery and invitation emails.
- Neon stores account and company records, sessions and private export files.
- Microsoft and Google process sign-in when you choose a connected account.
- Lark hosts our email inbox, where inquiries and messages to hello@ are stored.
Transfers outside the European Union
Cloudflare and Resend can process your data outside the European Union, including in the United States, where Resend carries out most of its processing. Both companies are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and their data processing agreements include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.
Lark may also process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. Its privacy policy identifies Lark Enterprise Applications Inc. as the affiliate certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Lark’s Data Processing Addendum includes the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for applicable transfers.
Cookies and analytics
The platform uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect sign-in requests. The public landing does not require a sign-in session. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Account records and exports are stored in our Neon project in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for three years after your last message to us, then delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
To request closure of an account or removal of account data, contact hello@dreamingcrowds.com. Signing out ends your session; removing a team member revokes company access without deleting the company’s records.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it or restrict its use. You can also object to how we use it. Write to hello@dreamingcrowds.com.
You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
